Initial Consultation Agreement
This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of the initial consultation between Gurleen Kaur, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC), and the mentioned client, hereinafter referred to as the "Client." The purpose of the consultation is to provide general advice on Canadian immigration matters.
During the consultation, the RCIC agrees to provide the Client with the following services:
-
Assessment of the Client's eligibility for immigration to Canada under various programs.
-
General information regarding immigration processes, requirements, and documentation.
-
Recommendations on the best immigration pathways available for the Client’s specific situation.
-
Discussion of potential timelines, fees, and costs associated with the application process.
This is a pro-bono case, meaning the RCIC agrees to provide the specified immigration services without charging any professional fees to the Client. This offer applies only to the initial consultation session.
The Client understands that the consultation is strictly for advice, and the RCIC does not guarantee any specific outcome with regard to the Client’s immigration application. The advice provided during the consultation is based on the information provided by the Client and the current immigration laws and regulations at the time of the consultation.
Both the RCIC and the Client agree to maintain confidentiality regarding any information discussed during the consultation. All personal and sensitive information shared will be kept private in accordance with the Code of Professional Ethics of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC).
This consultation does not constitute a full retainer agreement. Should the Client wish to retain the RCIC’s services beyond the initial consultation, a separate retainer agreement will be required, outlining the scope of work, fees, and responsibilities.
The RCIC shall not be held liable for any issues or decisions arising from the Client's immigration application following the initial consultation, as the consultation does not involve the submission of any official applications or documentation on the Client's behalf.
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time prior to the consultation. If terminated by the Client after payment, no refunds will be issued. If terminated by the RCIC, the consultation fee will be refunded in full.
